What anomalies do
Raise an Anomaly anomalies are the creatures you unlock by hatching stolen eggs. Once placed at your plot, they generate cash over time and can be fed to gain levels. That creates the central progression loop: steal, hatch, place, earn, feed, and upgrade.
This is an observed, incomplete roster, not a complete database. It includes only names that were clear in the game. Check your live collection for creatures added or renamed after this page was written.
Observed and incomplete anomaly roster
| Anomaly | What Was Clearly Observed | What Is Not Established |
|---|---|---|
| Batty | A bat-like hatch with a scary face; produced cash and accepted food | Fixed hatch odds or maximum income |
| Dragon Snail | A dragon-and-snail creature; showed a comparatively strong income result in the session | Permanent tier or guaranteed egg source |
| SCP-079 | A computer-like anomaly hatched from a large egg and produced strong income | Exact base rate across versions |
| Silver Leftovers | A food-like anomaly; reached level four and displayed about $3,000 per second in that recording | Universal level-four income |
| Pet Rocks | A grouped rock-like hatch that generated useful income | Rarity, cap, or fixed egg match |
| Buddy | A small walking companion-like anomaly that displayed strong income in the session | Guaranteed stats or hatch location |
The figures mentioned in the observations belong to one recorded session and can change with balance updates, bonuses, levels, and lab effects. Use each anomaly’s current display in your plot for real decisions.
How to judge a new hatch
Do not keep a creature only because its model looks rare. Check four things:
- Compare its cash per second with the anomaly it could replace.
- Check its current level. A fresh hatch is not a fair comparison with a heavily fed creature.
- Think about its food cost before committing to more levels.
- Look at your plot space. A decent creature can still be the wrong choice when every slot has a stronger earner.
An unusual name does not make a good roster. Keep the creatures that pay for your next speed, plot, food, and lab purchases.
Hatching is only the start
After the hatch, place the creature and feed it. The official game description explicitly connects feeding baby anomalies with leveling them up. Current gameplay also shows creatures growing larger and increasing income after food is used.
The food shop had burgers, pizza, sandwiches, and Eyeball Soup. One Eyeball Soup gave SCP-079 a large level jump in a playthrough, but one feeding does not create a complete XP table. Read the level change and shop stock in your server.
Income and roster replacement
Placed anomalies generate cash per second. Early creatures can begin with small values, while later hatches or fed creatures can produce much more. Bonuses from lab systems such as Toy Roller artifacts can also affect the economy shown on your plot.
Use this replacement rule:
| If Your Plot Shows… | Then… |
|---|---|
| Open space | Place the new hatch and observe it |
| Full space and a much weaker earner | Confirm the sell control, then replace carefully |
| Similar income between two creatures | Keep the one that needs less immediate food |
| Unknown new creature | Test its starting display before selling a strong earner |
One observed player sold a very large creature because its income stayed low relative to a newer anomaly. Size alone is not an economy stat.
Be careful with unclear names
Batty, Dragon Snail, SCP-079, Silver Leftovers, Pet Rocks, and Buddy were clear enough to include. Other names were too muddled to use safely, so they are left out.
When your hatch shows a name not listed here, trust the label visible in your live collection or plot UI. Do not force it into a similar-sounding entry from a video.
Grow the roster without stalling
Build income with reachable eggs before pushing into zones whose guards are much faster. Better cash supports treadmill and lab upgrades, which opens safer access to more targets. Keep a hatch slot ready and replace low earners only after checking the current sell action.
That loop expands your collection without draining your progress. A failed run in a high zone earns nothing. An ordinary hatch can still improve the income that pays for your next attempt.
FAQ
Is this the complete Raise an Anomaly roster?
No. It is explicitly an observed and incomplete roster based on clearly identifiable creatures in current gameplay.
Which anomalies have been clearly observed?
Batty, Dragon Snail, SCP-079, Silver Leftovers, Pet Rocks, and Buddy were clearly identifiable. Other ambiguous names are excluded.
What do placed anomalies do?
They generate cash over time. You can feed them to gain levels, grow them, and improve their contribution to your plot.
Does a larger anomaly always make more money?
No fixed size-to-income rule is established. Compare the cash-per-second display shown on each creature rather than judging its model.
How do I unlock more anomalies?
Steal eggs from guarded areas, carry them to your base, hatch them, and place the results. More speed helps you reach and escape from harder targets.
