Train for the next guard, not forever

Speed gives you room to carry an egg away from its guard and make it back to your plot. Pick the next target, read the recommendation in that area, then train and test the route. Standing on the treadmill forever is pointless if you have not decided which guard you want to beat.

Current gameplay shows speed recommendations beside guarded areas, treadmill training, treadmill levels, optional trails, and Robux multipliers. It does not establish one permanent speed requirement for every zone, so the label in your live server is the correct reference.

Read the guard before committing

Scout without an egg first. Watch how far you must travel, where the route turns, and whether the target sits behind obstacles. A clean route can make a modest speed total more useful, while an awkward pickup can waste the advantage you trained.

What you observeWhat to do next
Recommendation is far above your speedReturn to the treadmill or choose an earlier target
You are caught immediatelyAdd more training before testing again
You escape on straight ground but lose on turnsSimplify the route and stop detouring
The guard no longer closes the gapAttempt a normal egg delivery
The egg teleports back during the attemptTreat the route as failed and reassess

One lucky dodge does not mean the route is ready. Train until you can repeat the escape without needing everything to go perfectly.

How treadmill training works

Step onto your plot’s treadmill and stay on it while the speed total rises. Upgrading the treadmill changes the displayed gain to a higher speed-per-second amount, and later levels also change its appearance.

Use short training blocks:

  1. Choose one guarded egg area.
  2. Note its current recommended speed.
  3. Train until your total is closer to that check.
  4. Run the route without carrying an egg if you need to learn the turns.
  5. Attempt the theft only when the escape looks repeatable.

Now every minute on the treadmill has a purpose. The same test also shows when a treadmill upgrade would save more time than another purchase.

When to upgrade the treadmill

Upgrade when slow training holds back the next egg route. If you already outrun the guards within reach, work on the lab or hatch another resident first. Once every useful target is faster and the speed bar crawls, the treadmill is worth the cash.

Do not rely on a copied cost table. Read the live upgrade surface, compare the next price with your current income, and buy when you can keep the rest of your loop functioning. The panel is more dependable than an unofficial complete cost curve or cap.

Trails and multipliers are optional layers

A Spark Trail can display a speed multiplier, and the shop can show separate Robux multipliers. Read each live offer before spending. The interface does not promise one permanent price, an exact stacking formula, or a best purchase for every player.

Before spending, open the live offer and read its current effect. If you prefer normal progression, keep using the treadmill, upgrade its rate with earned cash, and select reachable targets. Optional boosts accelerate a loop; they do not replace route judgment.

Speed does not fix a bad pickup

Fast movement cannot solve every egg position. If an egg is difficult to move, returns while you work it down from its location, or becomes heavily contested, take a cleaner target.

Do not pause after pickup to inspect nearby eggs. Turn toward home, keep the route direct, and deposit the egg before shopping or scouting again. A successful delivery tells you more than the number on the stat display.

Build a repeatable progression rhythm

Alternate treadmill sessions with cash generation. Placed anomalies fund upgrades; upgrades shorten training; speed opens more theft attempts; new hatches can improve income. If you spend all your time training without maintaining residents, the next treadmill upgrade can become unnecessarily slow.

Collect cash, feed a good resident, train for one target, and bring home one egg. Then take another look at the lab. Move up when the current guard feels routine.

FAQ

Why is speed important in Raise an Anomaly?

Guards chase you after an egg theft. More speed helps you open a gap and return the egg to your plot before the attempt fails.

Where do I train speed?

Use the treadmill at your plot. The live display shows your gain, and upgrading the treadmill can improve the observed training rate.

How much speed do I need for each egg?

Read the recommendation shown near the current target. The live labels are more dependable than an unofficial permanent requirement chart.

Are trails required?

No. Trails appeared as an optional speed layer. Inspect the current offer and continue with treadmill progression if you do not want one.

When should I stop training?

Stop when you can complete the next chosen egg route reliably. Return later when a higher guard, rather than your cash or plot space, becomes the bottleneck.
